Are You Nobody, Too?

Hi, there. I'm nobody in particular, but I'm here, as the great Emily Dickinson says, "out with lanterns, looking for myself". Truly, I'm just here to find my voice, and internally cringing at my flagrant and liberal use of cliches, but determined to try nonetheless. 

I think what I want most is to cultivate the discipline of spending some time here, shining lanterns and strengthening the sense of writing that has atrophied from under (and ill) usage. I don't know what to say by way of introduction other than that. Blogging is funny thing. It's writing, yes! Yet at times I find myself in between writing as I speak, and writing in a more nuanced way. It's hard to get it right, and so I all-too-often close the browser before I even settle into the meat of anything I want to say. My goal is to press on anyway. Every week. Here. And we'll see what comes of it!
